One of the reasons I insist on using voice actor narration is because I write emotional books and I want that emotion imbued into the audiobook edition. Amy Jo Steele did an incredible job of not only nuancing different character voices for the Cinderella’s Jilted Billionaire audiobook, but she rocked showing their emotion too.
Her talent brought the story to life in a way I didn’t expect. I fell in love with the story all over again and know audiobook readers will love it.
Getting to know Amy Jo was a delight for me and I’m so pleased she agreed to answer some interview questions so you all could too.
What was your favorite part of the story to narrate?
I will say one aspect of the book that I loved about the main character was how effortlessly capable she seems from the beginning. But as the story moves along we realize how much more remarkable that actually is when we see the length of strides she’s taken and what she’s overcome to get there.
