January News from Lucy Monroe
Happy New Year! I hope that you and your families had a restful Holiday season no matter which holiday you celebrated. Hubcap and I had a great Christmas here at the house with our daughters and their families. I so enjoyed watching Little Fashionista and Miss Sparklepants play with their new toys from grandma and grandpa. I got smart this year and decided that I’d put all their presents inside the play tents we bought each of them. This way I didn’t have to wrap the gifts — pretty smart huh? I included a picture of the girls who, although they each got their own tent, were all too happy to help each other explore their treasures together. I was sad that my son wasn’t able to make it for Christmas morning, but we were able to spend some time together in the afternoon at my in-laws.
  I know it is so cliché to say “Where did the time go”, but this year I’m struggling to figure out where November and December went. It seems like I just got back from my amazing European vacation with Hubcap. Why does it seem the older I get, the faster life moves. While I’m not one for making New Year’s Resolutions, I do believe the New Year is a time of reflection and new beginnings. Let the past be the past and move forward. I know easier said than done, but I’m making it a point this year to look ahead with anticipation. This year is shaping up to be a fantastic year with two new releases and one rerelease. Watch my website for more specific details, but here are the expected release dates: July 2012 HEART OF A DESERT WARRIOR (Harlequin Presents), CLOSE QUARTERS (Rerelease\Kensington-Brava) and September 2012 the next book in the Children of the Moon’s series, DRAGON’S MOON (Berkley Sensation). I’m still waiting to hear from the publisher, but there may be one additional release in 2012. I’ll post on my website as soon as I know for sure!
